Fabric Basket
And...another project. Aren't you sooooo excited? I can feel the excitement. So I was browsing online one day and ran across this tutorial on Pink Penguin and I fell in LOVE! I was thinking of all the wonderful things I could do with this basket. I was going to do all kinds of organizing and make 3 or 4 of them for the living room for all of my yarn and magazines, it was going to look soooo fabulous! So I printed it off and went out and bought this SUPER cutie fabric and started working right away as soon as I got home never really paying that close attention to the dimensions on the tutorial. Well as I started cutting I thought, man this is pretty small but I just kept on going thinking it would get better. Finally as I was cutting out the last piece I was like this is going to be one SMALL fabric basket...and it is...and that's OK...I am still in LOVE. My next goal is to tweak it so that I can make a much larger one for organizing. Should be pretty easy. I will let you know....

That's adorable! I'm going to make me some too, only bigger!
I love it, Jenny! You find the cutest fabric and your projects all turn out so cute.
Well done. That would maybe be a cute basket for all of your headbands or something.

oooh i love it, i so wish i was crafy, wish you lived closer so you could teach me...
Your projects give me lots of feelings. First-feelings of awe cause they are awesome.
Second-feelings of inadequacy because I'll NEVER be that cool and crafty and I want to be.
Great job!
WHERE did you get that super cute brown flower on green background fabric? I love it, and I'm a fabric junky, seriously. What a cute basket! I think I'll have to try it for our room or the computer/craft/guitar/junk room:).
I love the picture with the measuring tape! Funny! None the less, very inspiring.
So cute. I am, once again, so very jealous of you and your craftiness. You are awesome!
1st of all you guys are all soooo talented and do such great things all the time! Plus, I don't do anything that is hard or complicated!
I got the fabric at Hancock Fabrics. They were all bunched together so it was nice, I didn't have to go searching for other fabrics to match! Score!
So cute, I want to make one. I need to get the patten
Love the fabric and the basket. It should be fairly easy to make larger. Good job Jen! We loved your visit and can hardly wait for our trip out there in June. I may have to make another trip out to Ikea. I think those lamps you bought would look very nice covered in that green fabric with the brown flowers. You should go buy some extra.
