I lovie dove dove Sacramento! I really do. It's my hometown. Who doesn't love and adore their hometown?
Forever now Scot and I have been talking about going to a Denver Nuggets game when the Sacramento Kings came in to town and so on Thursday night we finally did it! I had actually bought the tickets for Scot for Valentines Day so we have been anticipating this little outing for a while and were so excited to go. It came at the perfect time too. It seems like we have been so busy lately and haven't really spent a whole lot of time together with Scot being in school and our schedules constantly conflicting so we were really excited to have an entire night to get to spend together.
We headed up to Denver right after work and got to the Pepsi Center about 30 minutes before the game started so we were able to get our NACHOS and Pepsi before the lines got too long and find our seats. We actually had really great seats too, they were high up of course but our row was up against a wall so we didn't have any one behind us kicking our seats or spilling food and such on us so it was great.
I had big plans to order a Sacramento Kings shirt before this game but I just ran out of time and never got to it so I had to wear my retro Denver Nuggets shirt BUT I did represent in a small way by wearing my purple/black earings! Go Kings!
I am very sad however, to report that the Kings lost. They were doing SOOO well at the beginning and I was having a great time heckling Scot about it but by the 4th quarter they were just over it I guess because it was almost like they gave up. Oh well, what can you do? We had such a fun time anyway! I love spending time with my husband!

Hockey Game!
Scot and I don't share A TON of the same interests but one of the things that we do love equally is hockey! A couple weekends ago we went to an Air Force Hockey game up at the Academy. They played Holy Cross college. It was PACKED because it was $2 ticket night. We had such a great time hanging out together and watching our team play! They did really well and there was a lot more fighting than usual which is why I like to go. Woo hoo!
Here is a B-U-T-T ugly picture we took at the game. STOP looking at my double chin...I said STOP...Seriously don't make me come over there...

Air Force Hockey Game!
We were just Air Force sporting event machines last week. On Friday night we were able to go to an Air Force Hockey game up at the academy with some friends. Of all the sports there are in the world I have to say that hockey is my favorite. It's easy to follow, the players fight with each other and they have cool uniforms. What more could you want? Anyway it was a good game. They played against Bentley (whoever that is) and it ended in a tie! At the end of the 3rd period the score was tied so they had a 5 minute intermission and then they played a 5 minute penalty (ya totally don't think that's the right terminology but it's staying) round but both teams scored a point by the end of the 5 minutes so they ended it in a tie. Here we are before the game...

BYU vs. Air Force

Score
69 - 53
69 - 53
We just got home from the BYU vs. Air Force Basketball game up at the Academy. It was a lot of fun. BYU played really well. It was a really close game until the last couple minutes. We were suprised at how many BYU fans were there which was neato as well. It's nice to have the Academy so close to us. We really enjoy going to basketball, hockey and football games up there. Ok so Scot likes going to the football games, I don't so much but I do like going to hockey and basketball.
It snowed a couple inches while were at the game so walking to the car was no fun at all! The snow was pelting our faces and burning our lungs. We were very happy when we finally reached the car! I can endure a lot of things but cold is still one that I am working on!
Anyway it was a fun time had by all...GO BYU!!
