Indoor Skydiving

Last Memorial Day Jonathon was staying with us and we decided to go to Denver and try indoor skydiving. I have to admit I was a little nervous but we ended up having a great time. It was kind of a weird sensation and it was a little hard to breath with a 150 mph wind (I don't really know how fast it was but that sounds awesome) blowing up your nose but once you got the hang of it, it was smooth sailing. I also had an issue with leaving my mouth open so when I came out of the air tunnel I had a string of drool on the side of my face which was awesome too. Anyway, enough about that here is a viedo clip of our experience:

"Enchanted..."

This afternoon we went and saw the movie "Enchanted." While all the crazies were out shopping we had a nice relaxing afternoon in the theatre. This movie was hilarious and super cute. The funniest part happened during a scene where two people were about to kiss and a little boy in the back shouted out in a low, raspy, trying to be manly, hadn't changed yet voice "just do it!" The theatre erupted in laughter. It was a fun movie amidst the snow storm going on outside and we would definitely recommend seeing it if you haven't had a chance to yet!

Christmas Decor...

We love Christmas time! It's probably our favorite holiday of the year. One of our most favorite things to do around this time of year is put up our Christmas decorations together and we always do it the weekend after Thanksgiving. It's just a fun time where we can talk, or listen to holiday music. This year we watched Elf. We like to take care of it a little early especially when we know we will be in California for Christmas so we have more time to enjoy them. Here are a few of our favorite things....

Here is our Christmas tree. We haven't been adventurous enough to go out and get a real tree. Scot says that if I get him a pine smelling air freshener then he will be happy. I think I can handle that.

This is one of my most favorite things. We bought this set last year and we plan to buy the wisemen set this year. Scot even built the stable which makes me love it that much more!

This is Scot's favorite. We found this in Estes Park last year when we were there. We have really fell in love with this artist. We think he does great work!

We Are...

DOG SITTING...We were asked to dog sit this weekend and it has been quite the experience. I have been trying to convince Scot that we need a dog for months now but I have not been successful. So when this opportunity fell in to our laps I thought for sure he would cave but no such luck. He is still adament that we in no way shape or form need a dog...I still have one more day to convince him...

Randy's Visit

This morning we got up really early to take Scot's friend Randy to Garden of the Gods. Randy was in town for just one night and Scot wanted to show him some of what Colorado Springs has to offer.

Jenny's Weekend in Provo

This weekend I was able to go and visit some of my roommates from Ricks College who have become my dearest friends. We had such a great time catching up and reminiscing about all the good times we had together. Here are a few photos from the trip...

Here we are sitting at the Cougar Eat at BYU. We had just gotten done eating at Kneaders which had the best french toast I have ever eaten by the way, and we decided to go to the bookstore but it wasn't open yet so this is a picture of us waiting for it to open. OPEN! OPEN! OPEN!

Here is a picture of Erin with some crazy googly eyes! Woo woo...

Here we all are eating at Cracker Barrel. Nummers...

Here we are concentrating really hard on an intense game of checkers.

After dinner we all went back to Tawna's house and played imaginiff.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles

OK so we will just be talking about planes in these here blog. Scot is such a big kid. He loves toys and anything mechanical. If anyone ever can't think of a birthday or Christmas present for Scot just buy him something with a remote control. So here is a picture of Scot enjoying one of his favorite past times, flying airplanes. A couple Saturday's ago we went to the middle school by our house and I thought this picture turned out great. You can see the plane, oh so small in the upper left hand corner of the picture. Enjoy...
