Surprise! We went to Disneyworld...!! Part 1

I have to say that I have the greatest, most awesome husband in the entire world! He's the best ever and I just love him! He's always surprising me and doing such nice things for me and he totally went above and beyond this past weekend!

Our 5th year anniversary was on Friday and we had planned to drive up to Denver to go to the Cheesecake Factory and do a little shopping. I was really looking forward to it. On Thursday I got up and went to work like any other day and around 11:00 I got a phone call from my awesome boss (who is also my mother in law :)) telling me that there was a problem with one of my files and that I needed to come up to her office. So I went up there and when I walked in there was Scot. I thought it was slightly weird that he was there, we had kind of talked about going to lunch that day so I thought maybe he was there just picking me up or something. Anyway, after I sat down Scot took my hand and said a few nice things and then handed me our reservation to go to Disneyworld and stay in the same hotel we stayed at for our Honeymoon. I was still completely confused. I couldn't figure out why he came to my work to tell me that. Finally everyone was like go, shut down your computer, have fun! Scot was like we are leaving right now let's go. I was in complete shock! I had no idea and did not expect that at all. I am usually so hard to surprise so I can't believe he pulled it off! So off we went to go home and super sonic pack! We had such a fantastic time...we took a bazillion pictures so I will probably break this post up in to sections so stay tuned!

We spent all of Friday at the Magic Kingdom. It's our favorite so we wanted to spend as much time there as possible. We got there a little after it opened and didn't leave til' they closed, except for a brief trip back to the hotel to swim for an hour or so...

We have made it a tradition to eat at this delicious bakery for breakfast on Main Street at least once during each trip! Yummm, delicious cinammon rolls! That's the beauty of a trip like this, you walk so much that you can pretty much eat whatever you want!

Here we are on the Jungle cruise with an elephant in the background!

Scot, after we rode his all time favorite ride, Pirates of the Caribbean!

The Haunted Mansion, some of those headstones are pretty funny!

Even though it's a little nerdy we had to ride It's a Small World!

Mary Poppins, spit spot...

These little guys are every where! After we went swimming we were waiting in the courtyard in front of our room because the cleaning crew was working in our room and we saw this guys on one of the benches. Blah!

Back to Magic Kingdom after our brief rest!

Minnie's House!

Mickey's House!

Last ride of the day. This was our 2nd time on Space Mountain! We tried to ride everything at least a couple times, except for Splash Mountain...I got drenched and it was only the 2nd ride we rode that day! Not cool!

Day one was a success! It really is The Happiest Place on Earth!
