Fun with the Ripstik

For Christmas this year I bought Scot a Ripstik. He hasn't had much opportunity to try it out except for in the house on my kitchen floor (ahhhh) so today since it has been so nice he went out to try it out before going to scouts. I went out to snap a few pictures but the wind picked up and I decided to go back inside. He stayed out there for a little bit longer until he ate it and decided he was over it for the day. Lookin' good!

Here is what the ripstik looks like in case you have never seen one. They are actually pretty cool. It is supposed to be the same kind of feeling as a snowboard I guess, because it swivels and moves much differently than a regular skateboard. I can't seem to keep my balance on the thing without holding on to Scot's arms and him running along with me!

Here are some of the shots I took of Scot, check out that balance and concentration!

Scot makes it look easy but I know it can't be. Be careful and remember no broken bones allowed! See you guys in one week!

That looks pretty sweet. I'm pretty sure I would break my head. I can't believe you guys don't have any more snow. Arco is still covered in a foot of snow. Of course it is the arctic there.

Sweet! Just don't let him near anything concrete, paved, or otherwise hard. He has a history of bruises and gashes, you know.
