Daughtry Concert

At the beginning of the sumer we heard that Chris Daughtry was going to be coming to the Colorado State Fair and that tickets would go on sale at 10am one Saturday morning and that we had better get them fast because they would definitely sell out. So of course I am pumped sitting at the computer the morning they go on sale so that the second the clock hit 10:00 I was ready to purchase the tickets. So it is finally 10:00am and we buy our tickets. We were so proud of ourselves because our tickets were so close to the stage and we were going to be able to see everything so well!

So the day of the concert finally arrives about 3 months later and we get to the fair grounds in Pueblo. We walked in to the arena and we were really excited. Well, we start walking toward the front and walking and walking and walking and at this point we are still feeling really good about the whole situation but as we kept getting closer to the front of the building the less enthusiastic we got. When we finally reached our seats we realize that we must have been the very first people in the entire state of Colorado to purchase our tickets because our seats were located practically behind the stage so unless we were really interested in speakers and wires and buttons we couldn't see ANYTHING! As it got closer to the time the concert was going to start we realized that the place wasn't going to fill up so we took it upon ourselves to move to different seats and ended up getting killer seats with a much better view and had a fantastic time!
